Stouts revisited

So it's a known fact that I really like Stouts. I like them almost as much as I like IPA's. I recently had a few more Stouts that I wanted to share with you.

First one is a new one from Thomas Hooker Brewing in Bloomfield, CT.

It is their Chocolate Truffle Stout. This beer is a collaboration with Munson Chocolate. It is a phenomenal beer. Great roasty flavor with an incredible chocolate finish. Good cold, but the flavor profile changes dramatically as it approaches room temp. I bought a six pack and promptly delivered a bottle to my friend and beer guru Ray to try. I'm still waiting on some feedback. I also shared this with my brewing partner Jeff to try as well. Two thumbs up! There is also one sitting in the fridge for Glenn and Dad has one waiting too. There is one ageing in the Beer Room. I'm hoping it ages well.

The second Stout I want to mention is an old favorite. Nomad Stout from our friends at Cavalry Brewing in Oxford, CT. Mike and Justin put out some great beers. Another stout that intensifies with a warmer drinking temp. Feel free to check them out. There are a list of links to almost 20 breweries located on the main page. That's it for now. Cheers!
